Since I was a little girl, art has been the heartbeat of my life. From doodling on my siblings’ school projects to sketching on the walls of our home (yes, much to my mother’s dismay!), creativity was my constant companion. I saw beauty in everything – in colors, in textures, in old sarees, in simple flowers picked from the garden.

Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. It wasn’t just a passing phase, it was something I truly envisioned for myself during my teenage years. But life had its own plans. My family was going through financial struggles at the time, and pursuing that dream wasn’t possible. Instead, I studied Computer Science, a more stable, secure path. But no matter how far I tried to go from it, art never left me.
Life has never been an easy sail. I’ve explored many careers throughout my journey, searching for something that felt true to me. And yet, through all the uncertainties, my destiny led me right back to what I’ve always loved: creating, teaching, and empowering others.
My mother, a self-taught tailor, became my greatest inspiration. I used to watch her transform fabrics into something meaningful, clothes stitched with love, customized with care. I picked up tailoring from her, starting small, patching up torn clothes, mending sleeves, until it slowly grew into a passion of its own. That’s where my stitching journey truly began.
Over time, family events became my creative playground. From tailoring, I expanded into floral arrangements, wedding tray décor, and festive setups. I’ve even created and taught flower garland making, a tradition close to my heart. I never said no to learning something new. Every chance was a canvas, and I took it, without fear, without formal training, but with all my heart.
During the pandemic, I ventured into another beautiful expression of creativity, making dream catchers. What started as a hobby quickly became a soulful side business. I began customizing dream catchers based on my customers’ requests, each one infused with meaning and intention. It was a time of healing and stillness, and this craft helped me, and others find peace in chaos.
Eventually, I stepped into training – first under Arena Eduinfo, and now through my own platform, Aura Skills Academy. I never imagined I’d become a trainer, but this path found me, and I embraced it wholeheartedly. Aura Skills is not just an academy; it’s a space where dreams are nurtured, and skills are transformed into possibilities.

I believe that art doesn’t belong only to the educated or privileged. It belongs to anyone who dares to create.
Through SHINE, I now have the opportunity to share my journey and skills with other women – women who, like me, once thought their dreams had expired. Whether it’s sustainable fashion, tailoring, garland-making, creative décor, or handmade crafts. I’m here, ready to guide, teach, and grow with you.
As long as my hands can stitch and my mind can dream, I will keep going. This is more than a passion – it’s a purpose.
Let’s create beauty together.
